James Staley, 2008 Wheatley Idol Overall Winner, was in the Mix 96.7 studio with Mix 'Indie Hour' radio host Dustyn Janzen, for an interview and debut of Staley's original tune "To You". Contestants received an invitation by Wheatley Idol MC and 'Indie Hour' host Dustyn Janzen, to send in their CDs to be considered for this special tribute show on 'Wheatley Idol' that aired Sunday, July 26th, 2009, and there were no shortage of talent! The show also included some of the area's best local talents', singer-songwriters Dale Butler, and Nicole Barron, who have been a welcoming hand at Wheatley Idol over the years. Hope you tuned in... it was a great show!! The Mix 96.7 FM 'Indie Show' airs every Sunday at 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm (ET), playing the best of Southwestern Ontario's Indie artists.
