Many of our photo editing services
are included with our basic card proofs. Included are
sepia tone, black and white and hand colouring.
Below are some optional photo editing and photo
restoration that you may want on your photo, whether
it's for your cards or a photo you want enhanced. Costs
depend on the amount of work done on the photo. Many of these can cost significantly less if done in
conjunction with other work on the same photo.
Cost does not include cost of your print. Please contact us for a quote.

Editing is really just an artistic application of
today's technology. The original photo is carefully scanned
or supplied digitally by you. Our artists combine
creativity and imagination with technical skill edit the picture. Through the magic of digital
imaging, most photos can be restored to good as new condition!

Photo Restoration
Photo
restoration may look like magic, but it's really just an
artistic application of today's technology. Digital
photographic restoration does not affect the original
photograph. The original is carefully scanned, which converts
it to a digital file. It is this image which is worked on,
preserving your original intact. Our artists combine
creativity and imagination with technical skill to repair any
damage and restore the picture. Through the magic of digital
imaging, most photos can be restored to good as new condition!

Heavy damage -

Original has major
discoloration, cracks, tears or scratches across facial
features, or has missing parts that have to be
reconstructed (I will need a different photo of this
same person with complete facial features in order to
reconstruct the damaged photo. If another photo isn't
available, the missing face portions cannot be restored
accurately). Background needs to be removed, softened or
otherwise altered. |

Medium damage - $20.00 -

Original has numerous and/or dark spots, tears at edges, or deeper cracks
or scratches, requiring the entire surface of the photo to be gone over.
Background needs to be removed or changed. |

Light damage - $10.00 -

Original has a few discolorations, light scratches or very minor cracks
(which are not across facial features -- eyes, nose, mouth), or needs some
contrast or simple color adjustment to bring out detail.

create a whole new design custom for your needs. The designs we
have shown are just samples and any of our designs can be
changed in any way, with different colors, fonts, or layout. If
you have an idea in mind that you don't see on this site, I will
work with you to create that card. Our job is not complete until
you are completely satisfied with your design.
